Baby Animal Days

Last weekend, the American West Heritage Center (www.awhc.org) had their annual Baby Animal Days where they bring a lot of baby animals for a kind of petting zoo experience as well as many activities and such. Since we weren't able to go last year (sorry, but Kieran was only 4 days old and I was barely able to walk around the house after the surgery), we promised the kids we would really spend some time out there. We had a ton of fun! All the sweet babies sort of reminded me of when I was growing up and Dad started bringing home farm animals for his kids to learn from. First the prego nanny goat for the milk, then the lambs, then much later (thanks to 4-H) even pigs! Watching my kids out there kind of gave me a better appreciation for the lessons my Dad taught us all those years ago. Thanks Dad!

The website I posted the link to will help to give any one interested a lot of info about the Heritage Center and the Jensen Farm, to help lessen any confusion. Hope you enjoy all these pictures!
